Tammy was born in Upper Hayford, England in 1964.
She graduated from Meridian High School in 1982. After high school, she
enlisted in the Idaho Air National Guard on July 28, 1982, where she served
full time for 27 years and retired on May 17, 2010 as an E-8, Senior Master
Sergeant.
After the military, Tammy sought to pursue a career
as a Special Education Teacher and received her Associate of Arts Degree from
the College of Western Idaho on May 17, 2013. Unfortunately, a medical
condition prevented her from obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree at Boise State
University.
Tammy now works as a Hospice Volunteer with her dog Max who is a Pet Therapy dog, serves as the Senior Vice Commander of VFW Post 4000, and District 5 VFW Honor Guard Chairman. She is taking violin lessons and likes to volunteer at her church.
